Conference excursion
10:00 – 16:00 A cruise to the islands around Helsinki on the paddleboat p/ws Vispilä. Lunch and refreshments will be served on board. During the boat trip, Professor Yrjö Kaukiainen will give a lecture on the topic “Medieval Navigation on the Northern Rim of Europe“. The excursion is organised in cooperation with the Jarl Gallén Prize given by Thure Galléns Stiftelse. |
